VERSE 1
Verily, this melody has come for a cause. As it runs through your doors, be accepting of its energy or bar up your fort and be left starving for more.
Par for the course, for trust is core. The sane will admit we are made to exist in relationship, engaging with the Maker’s kids.
Opportunities for you and me are fruit on trees to choose or leave. For food to eat or fall to the earth, the soil and the dirt.
Thus, music weaves through the breeze like spores that germinate noise to be heard. Sparking hearts to embark on paths. If ears are open, fears might be broken. And apathy, radically ditched for the hopes and the dreams time has stolen.
While our neighbours are made strangers and the basic celebrated, made famous to entertain us, we are slaving for our savings. Kept way too busy to bother ever making major changes.
Disengaging from behaviours that stress, fool and bruise schools of impressionable youths who are strangely miseducated; we connect to the groove to let the music move you.
CHORUS
From outer sp-ace
You a-ppeared
Clothed in
Won-der, beau-ty, help-less
Then you gr-ew
To-day you’re known
Tru-ly loved
By the
Fa-ther who brought you he-re
Yes He knows you
VERSE 2
Be consumed with a mood that pursues a prevalent, heavenly relevance. Not competing for prestige when there isn't a meter meant for measuring endlessness.
For to journey in Eternity, earnestly and fervently pressing for excellence is better than effort spent relentlessly stressing with temporary betterment.
Never-the-less, where moth and rust does corrupt; where flesh descends to long and lust for comforts touch; the Father does to some seem farther than a sunbeam or laughter in a dark dream.
He seems distant but he’s here to whisper in your ear, words to calm the harsh seas.
So listen and you’ll hear purpose, love and masterpiece guidance for your growth.
The fire stoked toward the prize for your hope. Life, uttermost. Entwined like a rope with the King of Kings imbued through and fixed to you like super glue.
So with faith and conviction, make the decision and let His spirit move you.

Listening With Your Eyes
06:13
|
|||
Ears hear a thing. Your speech is clean. Even your actions don’t look dirty. Unless one’s passively observing patterns of candour to determine the secret deeds that evils breed.
You're matchless in your working practised platitudes to purchase fans with attitudes of service. But I’m certain passionately worded adulation is not love. So I listen with my eyes
as I’m surveying with my heart.
My aim is not distrust, to defame or to disrupt a saint's ways but I’m not playing those games that just corrupt.
Maybe I’m behaving like the judge when I know that role is not mine. But I can’t entrust my heart to the dark like pearls thrown before the swine.
A world glows in my daughter's eyes. A small fire to warm her life.
So to see a pyre climbing higher, I’d call to light the whores of night.
To banish shadows, I’d fashion arrows from words of piercing truth. Let them fly through reddest skies until they turn the ceiling blue.
More precious than our cash or our affections for our actions. Let it be, our own integrity is protected with a passion.

WORD
06:20
|
|||
Let’s have a word about a word. The word ‘word’. Or in this case, ‘logos’, as first heard.
If you get nerdy, learning with a scriptural disposition, you may have taken note on the scope of its definition.
Germans interpreted it as ‘verb’. So more than a title, it’s active.
The Word states it created the world. So we can deny that it’s passive.
“Intent”, “account”, “expectation” and “reason”. All solid translations, dependent on context framing its meaning.
Some scholars acknowledge the interpretation as ‘plan’. With that phrasing think back before the making of man. Before the foundation of creation. Before God spake forth the earth. Before the date was the 1st.
In the beginning
Verse 2
Back in the beginning. Well, the beginning of us.
When man was first made. Delivered from dust. Though all other creatures were created by God speaking a statement. Man, He hand-crafted in His image. A sameness.
That first man was Adam. Through him, humanity came.
His blood trapped in our veins. Blood that carries the blame of his actions - our shame.
The damage ingrained. That damage being death.
Hence, men are captured by graves until born through the last Adam, the image of the invisible God. Also known as the Christ, the Logos.
You might think of it odd, millennia prior to Messiah, God made man in this image.
Well, He had a plan in the beginning.

Memorial for the Unborn

Stone heart
Dying
Where are you?
Now?
Presence
Near me
Sweep your hand
My brow
Searing
Soul pain
Hands in my
face
Laughing
knowing
You search out
my eyes
Soul robbed
Crying
Where are you?
Now?
You tilt
my chin
Gaze into
my eyes
No words
spoken
I'm with you
now.

Play for your life with a snake's eye on each face of the die.
They say try and roll your fate with a blindfold, chasing a lie.
Trends of hatred and strife.
Day became night in the taking of mine.
Is slavery re-labelled, portrayed as a fable,
spreading satan or Christ?
This new place has been kind if your skin is white as mine is.
No arrangement has been signed but by strangers we are licensed.
This country I'm from. Not obvious because Australia was built on top of it.
The populace was not equipped for the continent’s new occupants, their flocks, their guns, smallpox and rum - even smog in toxic oxygen - robbed and killed my kindred.
We coped until an apology came. A glimmer of hope for co-existence and growth past the horrible change, the problems, the blame, false sovereignty's reign.
The sorrow/the shame finally felt shared, recognised and confessed. Of our plight they are aware.
I’d like to acknowledge ancient caretakers. But not for politics or fair weather strangers. But in spite of the tokens - the eyes that are closed while niceties are flowing.
I must acknowledge the God who owns all. Righteous and sure. For whom was the stewarding of life in this land.
Don’t let it die in our hands.
